Book description from goodreads.com
From the moment I first met Gideon Cross, I recognized something in him that I needed. Something I couldn’t resist. I saw the dangerous and damaged soul inside–so much like my own. I was drawn to it. I needed him as surely as I needed my heart to beat.
No one knows how much he risked for me. How much I’d been threatened, or just how dark and desperate the shadow of our pasts would become.
Entwined by our secrets, we tried to defy the odds. We made our own rules and surrendered completely to the exquisite power of possession…
This is the third book in the Crossfire series, about Gideon Cross and Eva Trammel. I have to admit, Gideon Cross made me realize just how creepy and gross Christian Grey was. Gideon is a GREAT guy. I love him. He is amazing. But…
This book was way more DRAMA than SEX. The previous two books were about sex then drama, this book was the other way around. It had also been a while since I’d read the second book, and to be honest, I kind of forget about what was going on.
My one complaint about this book was some unnecessary drama with some characters who were irritating (namely Gideon’s ex, Corrine, her husband, Eva’s ex Brett and a reporter).
One good thing to come from reading this book was learning there will be another one! I’m really excited to keep reading Gideon. There are some interesting side stories, aside from the Eva/Gideon story.
The sex scenes are still very steamy. Very.
Read it, but read the other two first.
