Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish Blog.
This week’s topic is: This week’s topic: Beach Reads Week — top ten great beach reads, ten books I plan to read on the beach, ten beach reads for those who don’t like typical *beach reads*, ten authors who are my go to for beach reads, etc.
This, for me, is really my June TBR, but I’m going along because I don’t characterize books into category like “beach reads”. When I’m on vacation, I’m going to read books that interest me. Here is my list in no particular order.
Books I plan to read this summer:
The Virgin Romance Novelist by Meghan Quinn. I read a little of this and shelved it, but then I read The Mother Road by this author and loved it, so I’m going to give this one another shot.
Wrong Number, Right Guy by Elle Casey. I don’t know much about this book other than it’s by Elle Casey, who wrote Shine, Not Burn (which I loved). So I’m going to give this book a shot.
Unexpected Everything by Morgan Matson. I stumbled upon this book on goodreads, and I’ve never read this author, but the book sounds fun and there are dogs involved. That’s all I need to hear:)
Undeniably You by Jewel E. Ann. Another book I stumbled upon which features dogs. Never read this author either, but it sounds fun (despite the cover).
Grin and Beard It by Penny Reid. I’m especially excited about this book, which I will likely read in the next week. I loved the first book in the series, and I’m glad this book isn’t about Beau. I hope there are 10 books in this series:)
Crave by Megan O’Brien. New series I just discovered by the author of a really good MC series (see below). I’m excited to hit this book.
Ryker by Megan O’Brien. The 4th and hopefully not last book in the Ride series is about Ryker (which is a really popular name for men in books..). Even though Ryker is a youngin, I’m sure he will be quite the alpha male:)
Mackenzie Fire by Elle Casey. I finally bought this book and I’m so excited to read it. I loved the first book and I regret that it sat on my shelf for so long.
Easy Kisses by Kristen Proby. Kristen Proby could write a phone book and I would read it. She is absolutely one of my go to authors. I’ve read all the books in this series and will continue to do so. She has the second book in her Fusion series coming out in August and I’ll be all over that too! That makes 10!!
What’s on your list?
