Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish Blog.
This week’s topic is: Top Ten New-To-Us Authors We Read For The First Time In 2016
Thanks to my Kindle Unlimited membership, I’m discovering all kinds of new authors!! Below, in no particular order, are the authors I read for the first time in 2016.
Kate Stewart. The first book I read by her, Anything but Minor, was great. I loved the main characters and the banter was funny. The second book was good, but not as good. I like her writing style though.
Elle Casey. I read Shine, Not Burn and MacKenzie Fire and LOVED them, so I was excited for her new series, starting with Wrong Number, Right Guy. Sadly, that book sucked. But I loved the other series.
JC Valentine. Wrote an MC series that I enjoyed.
Meghan Quinn. Author of The Mother Road, which was one of the funniest books I read this year. Loved it.
Carina Adams. Oddly, I liked the second book in this series better than the first.
Brooke Blaine. Licked was really funny, and I’m looking forward to the next book.
Ella Maise. To Love Jason Thorn was my first 5 star book of the year. Loved it.
Riley MacKenzie. LOVED her book Abruption. Fantastic read.
Jay Crownover. This author has been around for years, but I never read the Marked Men series. I liked the first two books I read in the Built series.
Who are your new authors for 2016?
Happy reading.
