Rules from Lauren:
Every Monday share one or two of songs you’ve been enjoying lately. It doesn’t have to be a specific genre, new, or one of your favorites – just something you’d like to share with others. If possible, share a music or lyric video of the song and your thoughts on the song(s), artist(s), and/or music video(s).
If you would like to participate in Music Monday, please join the link up by sharing your post’s url over at this week’s post on Always Me.
I found this post over on Kristi’s blog and thought it would be fun to participate. Check her out!
This week, I’m featuring a song I think everyone can relate to – My Old Man by Zac Brown Band.
This song is about a father and son, but I feel it can certainly translate to girls as well. Everyone wants their dad’s approval and love. I dare you not to tear up during this song.
Now I’m a giant
Got a son of my own
He’s always trying
To go everywhere I go
Do the best I can to raise him up the right way
Hoping that he someday wants to be
Like his old man
I hope you like this song as much as I do. My 19-year old son actually introduced me to it and I honestly tear up every time I hear it.
