Top Ten Bookish Settings I’d Want/Not Want to Live in
Going to do 5 and 5.
Want to live in
Cotton Malone’s world (Cotton Malone series by Steve Berry). Cotton’s home base is Copenhagen, but he spends most of his time travelling the world solving mysteries surrounding real world events.
Indy Savage’s world (Rock Chick series by Kristen Ashley). Indy has a very eclectic group of friends with hot, alpha men at their side. And they live in gorgeous Denver.
Seattle with the Montgomery family (With Me in Seattle series by Kristen Proby). Large, extended family living in Seattle – and my all time favorite book boyfriend Matt Montgomery lives there.
Paris/Rome with Robert Langdon (Robert Langdon series by Dan Brown). Hot (in the book anyway) professor travels the world solving mysteries. Yes please.
Hudson Valley (from the Cream of the Crop series by Alice Clayton). Picturesque town filled with beautiful men and good food. Count me in.
Would not want to live in
Bon Temps, Louisiana (Sookie Stackhouse series). Werewolves, vampires, witches, and voodoo do not sound like a place I would like to live. Plus it sounds like a really boring town.
District 12 (from the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins). Poor, no food and strict rules don’t sound like a fun place to live.
Christian Grey’s penthouse (from Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James). He’s a possessive psychopath with a penchant for abuse. No thanks.
Any Scientology center (based on Leah Remini’s book). I’m cheating a bit here, but after reading her book and watching her series, I would want nothing to do with that lifestyle.
Trenton, New Jersey (based on the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich. The author didn’t make this town sound like a great place to live, but Morelli lives there, so there’s that….
Where would you want/not want to live?
Happy reading.
Love your answers! Rome with Robert Langdon sounds exciting.
I wouldn’t want to live in District 12 either..
Thanks
Hudson Valley would be awesome! I think Seattle is pretty cool, if I do say so myself.
It is a great city!!
Christian Grey’s penthouse! Ahhhhhh 😦 Wouldn’t that be awful??
Hahahaha Christian Grey’s penthouse! Love it! Thanks for the laugh
District 12 would definitely suck. I put The Capitol on my list. Happy reading!

I just think I’d skip any and all districts of The Hunger Games! 😀
