I saw a few of the blogs I follow do this fun tag, so I knew I had to jump on the bandwagon, since all I read is romance!!
WHAT AGE DID YOU START TO READ ROMANCE NOVELS?
Honestly, it’s been in the last five years, which is funny, because I’m in my mid-forties!
IF YOU COULD PICK ONE HERO TO MEET FROM YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVELS, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Oh my god, there are so many I would pick, but honestly I would pick Matt Montgomery from Tied with Me by Kristen Proby. I absolutely fricking loved him and re-read the end of that book about 50 times.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE ROMANCE AUTHORS AND WHY?
I have so many! Kristen Proby is my favorite. I also like Sawyer Bennett, Harper Sloan, Aurora Rose Reynolds, Max Monroe, Meghan Quinn, Melanie Harlow and many others. For romantic comedy, Meghan Quinn is a must read. Kristen Proby writes great male characters – I haven’t met one I didn’t love.
WHAT IS A FAVORITE ROMANCE NOVEL TO RE-READ?
I am not a re-reader.
WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TO A NON-ROMANCE READER?
I would recommend the With Me in Seattle series by Kristen Proby for many reasons. One, I love a series about a family. Two, as stated above, she writes great men, and three, there are nine books in the series.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVORITE: CONTEMPORARY, SUSPENSE, HISTORICAL AND WHY?
I love contemporary. I like suspense, but a good romantic suspense is hard to find. I don’t read historical romance. Just haven’t gotten into it.
Calling all romance bloggers: TAG YOU’RE IT! If you’re a romance blogger then you should totally join in on the fun and do this tag! Feel free to let me know in the comments which book sparked your love for the romance genre and who some of your favorite romance authors are!
What a fun way to learn about your love for romance!
Thanks:)
High five to us bloggers in our 40s 🙂 You seem to like similar romance authors to me
Thanks:) High five back
I enjoyed reading your answers. I started reading romance in the form of True Romance magazines when I was a teenager. I don’t even know if they still publish them.
Thanks. Me neither. I was a mystery reader when I was younger. Phases I guess.
For sure, I stopped reading romance for a long time and am getting back into it in the last few months.
I am not a romance blogger, but I am a romance reader, I love reading uncomplicated and feel-good romances, maybe I’ll give this tag a go anyway.
