Behind the
“lights, camera, action” of Hollywood lies a world of deception,
love, and seduction.
Are you ready for Hollywood Royalty?Carter
A blonde, a brunette, a redhead…he can have his pick
of them all on any given night and he knows it. They wait, hoping he looks up
and gives them his signature smirk, choosing them over the others because
that’s his game.
Except now he’s signed the contract of a
lifetime, one with a pesky little clause that says his zipper must stay up and
his playboy image has got to tamp down. It’ll be fine—a piece of cake, even—he
can do this and he’s almost convinced himself of that … and then she walks in
the room
The new PR girl whom they’ve hired to change his
image, she’s the star of all his dreams, but there’s one tiny little problem …
she can’t stand him and all of his player ways.
He knows he only has thirty days to show her why
they call him Hollywood’s Prince. He’s up for the challenge, so game on.

Oh Carter Johnson, how I love thee!

Carter Johnson is Hollywood’s Prince. He also has a terrible habit of sleeping with women – a different woman every night. He is about to make a movie that could make his career take off, so it’s decided that he needs a PR person to make his image better. That person is Erin.

Erin is an intern at Hillcrest Productions, and is assigned to work with Carter. God, in the beginning of the book, Carter is such a giant asshole. I didn’t think he would redeem himself (he did). Erin is a tough cookie who is trying to make her way up the ladder.

Once the story started taking off, I absolutely loved Carter. He was a sweet, genuine guy who had been dealt a bad hand. As a typical Hollywood person, Carter has to worry about whether people’s feelings are genuine or if they are using him. He had some insecurities about that, but they felt real and believable.

There were a few surprises in this book I didn’t see coming, but they absolutely added to the story. There weren’t a ton of supporting characters in this story, which was a bit odd, but it was ok.

I really enjoyed this story and will pretty much read any word Natasha Madison writes. She has quickly become a go to author fore me.

Highly recommend.

I don’t
date alpha males.

Especially
not alpha males with egos the size of Jupiter, who also happen to be my boss’s
big brother.

Deacon
Hunter is domineering. Condescending.
Infuriating.

And yet I
can’t seem to keep my panties on for five minutes when we’re alone together.

He keeps
melting them right off. With that sexy voice, those confident hands, the way he
brings my body wildly to life, he’s proved my libido hasn’t gone into
permanent, post-divorce hibernation after all.

Surely
there’s no harm in being enemies with benefits… Right?

When Violet
Boden asks me to take her Divorce Virginity, the only thing I can think is—come
again?

No,
seriously,
come again.

And again
and again, until both of us are so satisfied we can’t remember the people who
did us wrong.

Best if we
keep conversation to a minimum, though, considering I drive her crazy. She
drives me crazy sometimes, too. But she’s also sweet, loyal, fearless, and so
much fun she’s making it damn hard not to fall for her.

But how to
convince a woman who’s put me in the emotional no-fly zone that I deserve a
place in her heart?

This is my second book in this series, and it wasn’t at all what I was expecting. It was angsty, sad and yet, I enjoyed it.
Chloe Feildgain is a reporter who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. When she was in high school, Kyle Lane asked her to a dance, and then ruined her reputation. She never forgave him. So you can imagine how much hated it when Kyle moved in right next door to Chloe.
Kyle is a cop and the son of the town’s mayor (whom he hates, by the way). Kyle has had a thing for Chloe since that night in high school, and he decides he is going to prove to her that he’s a nice guy.
Chloe helps her deadbeat sister raise her two children, Trey, who is 14, and Gloria, who is a 3 or 4 year old. Claudia, the sister, is honestly one of the worst characters I’ve ever read. Nothing good about her. She is pure evil, and it’s amazing how good her kids turned out.
Kyle and Chloe begin a friendship of sorts that turns into something more. Chloe has a secret that threatens to ruin her relationship with Kyle. I have to say, this secret was a bit predictable. But it was an interesting part of the story.
The book itself was a little long. It was a good story though. It was nice to Gage and Lauren (from book 3) and I loved Trey and Gloria. They were the best part of the story.
The end was very dramatic and sad – a little warning, but overall, this book was good, and I would read the next book in the series.

I received an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Deacon Hunter and Violet Boden are both in their 40’s and divorced. Deacon is Violet’s boss’s brother, and she hates him, but she is extremely attracted to him.

Problem is, she also finds him extremely irritating, which makes her attraction to Deacon drive her crazy. Yet she can’t resist Deacon. I love stories about people in their 40’s (as I’m in my 40’s). Both Deacon and Violet are done raising their kids, so that was fun to read, because I’m kind of in the same boat (but still married:).

Violet was a strong character. She was funny and loyal and a good mom. I fell for Deacon hard. He was a bit arrogant, but such a great guy. Their chemistry was off the charts!

Once they get over themselves, this book was a fun read. Two likable characters at a point in life that I can relate to.

I would recommend this book, it was a fun read.

thing harder than sharing office space with Finn Anderson: keeping my mind off
him.

Scotland.
With his seductive Scottish accent and alluring blue eyes,

Excerpt
When I get
to the door, I turn quickly, and she stumbles back a step, as if I’ve caught
her off guard. I reach out to steady her, and my hand lingers on her shoulder,
my fingers brushing against the inside of her arm.
She inhales
sharply, her eyes widening as they flicker over my lips.
Damn it.

Everything
between us is too much, too real.
“Daisy.” My
voice is low, and I struggle to control the torrent of emotions that flood me
as I stare at her upturned face. I want to pull her flush against me and kiss
her senseless as much as I want to turn around and leave. Memories from
Christmas flood back.
I don’t know what’s going on between us. I had
said the words to her on Christmas Day and yet, they ring true now.
The tension
between us crackles with energy as I drink in her multi-colored eyes, so bright
and intense, I could drown in them. Open desire mixed with anticipation
flickers across her expression as she boldly meets my gaze.
Mesmerized
by her, conflicted by the emotions running through me, my hands clench into
fists. My fingers itch to wrap in her hair, my mouth begs to cover hers. Hell
yes, I want her. But I respect her too bloody much to make her one more girl in
my long list of one-night stands. Besides the obvious reasons why Daisy and I
shouldn’t hook up – we now work together and she’s Sierra’s best friend – she’s
also younger, more impressionable, and idealistic. I’m not the man for her, and
I never will be, which is why I force myself to lean forward and brush a casual
kiss across her cheek. “Make sure you lock the door behind me.”
I hear a
small catch in her breath but when I pull back, she regards me carefully. Her
face impassive, her posture stiff, she holds the door open. “Night, Finn.
Thanks again.”
“See you,
Dais.”  I step into the hall and walk
down the flight of stairs, pausing until I hear the deadbolt latch. Sighing, I
scrub my palm over my face. What the hell was that? Blowing out an exhale, I
can still smell the vanilla from her shampoo and feel the soft, smooth skin of
her cheeks.
I couldn’t
forget about Daisy if I tried.
And trust
me, I’ve tried.

Daisy Kane moves to Scotland after graduating college, leaving her family behind, to start a job working at her best friends family’s PR business. It all sounds great except for one thing – Finn Anderson.

Daisy has a massive crush on Finn, and on Christmas, Finn kissed Daisy and walked away, leaving Daisy confused.

Daisy was a cool chick, and I loved her family. I feel that you needed to read the other books in the series to know what happened at the beginning of the book.

Finn, with his Scottish accent, was quite swoon worthy. He had some self doubt where Daisy was concerned. He had been in a relationship that scarred him badly and he didn’t want another relationship. Even with Daisy, whom he clearly wanted.

The chemistry between Finn and Daisy was off the charts. This was overall a good read. I just wish I had read the other books in the series first.

I would recommend.
